My Story

My full-time career is in the technology industry, but a few years ago, while renovating my own home, I discovered I have a real passion for hands-on work. There's a unique satisfaction in creating a perfect, tangible result that you don’t always get from a computer screen. I particularly enjoyed installing laminate flooring and became quite skilled at it.

I started FloorsNearby.com as a side project to share that skill. It’s a way for me to do work I genuinely enjoy while offering a straightforward, friendly alternative to larger companies.
